What you are actually paying for
The anatomy of a kitchen that lasts
Most mud kitchens fail at the same five places. Here is what we do differently at each one.
- Utensil rail with hooksWooden spoons and ladles hang where a three-year-old can reach them, so the kit stays visible and gets used.
- Two lift-out stainless sinksNot a moulded dip that holds stagnant water. These fill, carry, tip and wash, then come out to dry.
- Four burners, wooden knobsPainted rings and chunky turnable knobs. Enough kitchen to suggest the game, not enough to script it.
- Solid spruce, hand-paintedReal boards, sanded splinter-free, in an outdoor acrylic that does not blister. No chipboard anywhere in the build.
- Full-width shelfPots, pans and treasure live here. On the storage models it becomes a cabinet with doors.
How it works
From your order to the first mud pie
- 1You choose
A size, a colour and a worktop finish. Two minutes on the product page, and the photos update as you click.
- 2We build it by hand
Your kitchen is cut, sanded, painted and checked in a small workshop. Nothing is pulled off a shelf.
- 3It arrives assembled
Kerbside on a pallet, 7 to 14 days after ordering, tracked and free. Lift it off, stand it where the mud is, and play starts the same day.
